Summertime, and the Knitting is Easy |

Spring this year has been absolutely gorgeous, hasn’t it? And now it’s time to start thinking summer knitting, crocheting, and more!
Learn how to knit lace, discover new sock construction techniques, sit down at a spinning wheel and create your own unique yarn, or get a head start on your holiday knitting this summer. This summer we’re also pleased to offer new kid’s camps for the younger crowd. Give your children a gift to last a lifetime – teach them to knit, crochet or spin!
Are you interested in a spinning wheel or frame loom, but don’t have the space for one? We are very excited to be able to offer studio time on the wheels and looms we carry. If you aren’t ready to commit to a particular wheel just yet this can be a great way to decide exactly which model you want! We’re getting in lovely new yarns this summer, so be sure to keep a look out in your mailbox – we’ll be sending a notice about our upcoming anniversary sale soon…we need to make room on the shelves!

Special All-Day Workshops |

Our all-day workshops are a wonderful way to treat yourself to a whole day of fiber arts. There’s something here for everyone!
Needle Felting Workshop. Spend a day painting and sculpting with wool! Learn how to use needle felting techniques to make designs on fabric or create intricate models. If you have already attended this workshop, this is a great opportunity to learn further techniques and refine your needle felting skills. Sunday, July 26, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Fiber Tasting Workshop. Come explore the magic of spinning various wool, camelid, silk & plant fibers.
Sunday, August 2,10:00am to 4:00pm.
Acid Dyeing Workshop. Learn how to dye your own beautiful colorways during this hands-on workshop.
Saturday, August 22, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Color & Fiber Blending & Designer Yarns Workshop. Spend the day exploring various fiber preparation and spinning techniques to produce colorful and textured designer yarns.
Sunday, August 23, 10:00am to 4:00pm.
Wee Woolies Knitted Doll Workshop. Learn how to knit a family of small dolls with a variety of personalities. Once you get started you can’t make just one!

We are now offering in-store rentals on our wheels and looms. Studio time is available during shop hours, does not include instruction, and must be reserved in advance. Please call (585-586-5470) or stop by the shop for more details. | Spinning Wheels | Frame Loom | | Wheels are rented hourly at a rate of $6/hour. Punch cards may be purchased for $30/6 hours. Currently, we have several different models of both Louet and Ashford wheels available for use. | A 7’ triangle loom may be rented at a rate of $30/week. If you need more time to finish your project, individual days may be added for $5/day. |
